Last updated July 6th, 2017 | Annie | Leave a comment I have been a therapist for several years. As a Holistic Therapist I utilise my skills and experience to develop a totally unique programme tailored to each individual patient. My business journey started in 1998 when I won a contract to work for Children In Need and Comic Relief as a Children’s Worker at a women’s refuge. I wanted to provide a way for the women and children to be able to relax. I taught the women and children how to do a simple aromatherapy hand massage which helped them to feel confident and to sleep at night. I then trained as an aromatherapist and learned Swedish Massage which started my passion for all kinds of natural healing.Four years later my grandmother was diagnosed with a terminal illness and asked me to nurse her throughout her journey, which I did. The experience was so positive and uplifting that after her death I volunteered at our local hospice, Katharine House. After a spell as a complementary therapist working with patients in a local hospice and utilising all my skills as a therapist whilst also teaching complementary therapies and belly dancing for Stafford College as well as South Staffs College in 2006, I made the decision to start Heaven Scent Bliss, a full time practice at my then home. The practice has grown and developed amazingly going from strength to strength and will soon include an on-line shop with eBay selling our handmade ethically sourced tools for natural healing.Heaven Scent Bliss is mainly run by myself with a small team of helpers who provide the technical, marketing and financial know-how. Another innovation that we have adopted since 2012 is our Skype/ telephone treatments which have meant that we can serve the local community as well as people all over the UK and all over the world. We currently provide treatments for patients in USA, Australia, Canada, France and the Netherlands as well as providing courses that are taught via Skype on a wide range of subjects. – Annie of Heaven Scent BlissShare the love
